| First,
decide what you're looking for. Is it a Surname (aka: Last Name)
or an individual person you're researching? For Surnames, click
the SURNAME link. It'll bring you to a page that looks like this: Say you're researching the Sill
family. Just click on the "Sill" link (the second to last name there)
and it'll take you to our NAMES LIST page. This page lists all the
individuals with the surname "Sill" that we have on our site. That page
will look like this:
Sill
Jerusha; b. 18 Jun 1795 - Lyme, CT Joanna; b. 26 Jan 1831 Joanna L.; b. 4 Sept 1819 John; b. Lyme, England From this point, you would pick the person in this list that you're searching for. Let's say that person is John Sill. Just click on "John" and it takes you to his page. (NOTE: His name will be at the top of the his page!). Notice that I've supplied each individual's DOB by their name in this list to make it more easily referenced by you, since there are several common names found when tracing family trees. When you click on "John", it'll take you to his page. This page will look like this: First
Generation <--- The # of the
generation that this person is in
1_1. John SILL <--- 1_1 signifies 1st generation, 1st individual. First name, SURNAME b. Lyme, England <--- Birth information d. 1632 <--- Death information m. Joane UNKNOWN <--- Spouse first name, SURNAME, wedding information d. 1671 <--- Spouse birth, death information Children: <--- Child table - includes all children attributed to this marriage
That's it! Easy as pie right? Enjoy the list! > |
